Why a made-to-measure ramp beats an off-the-shelf one
Hardware-store ramps come in three heights. Your front door is probably none of them. A ramp that is 5mm too short leaves a lip that catches the small front wheels of a walker; one that is too long rocks and slides. We build yours to the measured height (A), length (B) and width (C) of that exact opening, so it sits flush on both sides.
Each ramp is bonded from 100% recycled Australian tyre rubber in our custom rubber ramp workshop in Mentone. It is heavy enough to stay where it’s placed, quiet under wheels, and it won’t crack, warp or go slippery in a Melbourne winter.

How much does a custom rubber ramp cost?
It depends on height, width and length — a small threshold ramp costs far less than a long wheelchair run. We measure for free and give you a fixed, itemised quote before anything is made, so there are no surprises.
Do your rubber ramps need to be drilled or glued down?
No. Each ramp is heavy enough to stay in place under its own weight. Nothing is screwed, bolted or glued, so your floors are untouched and you can take the ramp with you if you move.
How long does it take to get a ramp made?
Most ramps are measured, built and installed within 1–2 weeks. Urgent jobs — such as a hospital discharge — can often be prioritised. Call us and tell us your date.
Are your ramps compliant with Australian Standards?
We manufacture to the gradients set out in AS1428.1 — typically 1:8 or 1:10 — or to the exact gradient your occupational therapist specifies.
Can I get my ramp funded through the NDIS or a Home Care Package?
Often, yes. We are an NDIS registered provider and supply quotes and specifications for NDIS, Home Care Package and CHSP applications. Read our NDIS funding guide for the steps.
Will a rubber ramp work outdoors in the rain?
Yes. Recycled tyre rubber is weatherproof and UV resistant, and the textured surface stays grippy when wet — which is exactly why it suits front doors, patios and shower recesses.

What if I no longer need the ramp?
